In most cases, you can solve the problem by updating the firmware. Reason: Since April 2024, the device has been equipped with a new cable probe. The latest firmware must be used for communication to work.

Procedure:

  1. Set up the device according to the operating instructions. Add the device to the “Ewelink” app.
  2. Call up the device in Ewelink and click on “...” in the top right-hand corner
  3. Click on the second line “...Firmware:...”.
  4. If a firmware update is available, carry this out.

This may take a few minutes. After a successful update, the temperature value will be displayed.
